Description:This is an abridged English version of a biography of the French Jesuit missionary and martyr, Saint Isaac Jogues, SJ. Its author, Martin J. Scott, has adapted his version based on the English translation by John Gilmary Shea of an original French biography by Félix Martin, entitled "Le R. P. Isaac Jogues, de la Compagnie de Jésus, premier apôtre des Iroquois" (Paris, 1873).
