Real subsesequent martyrs were the patriots Iuliu Maniu, Dinu and Gheorghe Bratianu dieds in the communist prisons. The same destiny had even the communist leader of that time, Lucretiu Patrascanu prosecuted for nationalism by Stalin.Unable to wait to be arrested by the insurgeants or condemned by Hitler, his ambassador von Killinger killed oneself in his office of Bucharest under his own picture. Another high german dignitary Clodius, whose mission was Ankara, putted in at Bucharest by his own mind, fell prisonier; he generals Gerstemberg, Hansen and Friessner too.The book demonstrate that the so named „soviet liberator army” entered in Romania as a real occupation army which, with the permission of Churchill and Roosevelt imposed by weapons the communist regime. Because the Russian army arrived in Bucharest more long time after the Romanian insurrection and, olnly in the year 1949, preparing the celebration of the first five years from this event named “The liberation by the glorious Red Army”, soviet photographers and cameramans has made tricked photographies and films with worker-troops and happy population welcoming the Soviet liberators. At the other aniversary days, these-ones becames official documents.The first cover of the book represents page one of «The New York Times»’issue of Saturday, 26 of August 1944.The last cover is the 10 lei plaster printed in the name of the Red Army and registered at Moscow, to oblige the Romanians to accept it as the occupation money.
