Description:Mr. Hookumbacker, the tree master of the Forest of the CrackingStone, leaves Wiggle Twig Village to perform one of his favoriteduties, the naming of a new sapling shine. The new shine, HollyShallina, learns to run free in the forest with her bumble tumtree carer Cherry Petals. Holly and Cherry quickly become friends with another sapling shine called Buddy Trix and his bumble tum Shubbie Willows. Sapling shines are allowed to leave their seed home each night until sunrise next day. Unknown to Mr. Hookumbacker Cherry Petals accidentally discovers that he can fly. In the darkness her stripes are now glowing green instead of yellow and the sapling shines white legs are growing green almost to their ankle lines. Their only choice is to leave the safety of the forest to find the Falling Waters and the Mirrored Pool.After a long dangerous journey the shines and the bumble tums wash away the green in the Mirrored Pool, but find themselves caught up in the magic of the Falling Waters and stay too long. Now with only a short time left they must immediately return to the Forest of the Cracking Stone. On their return to the forest Holly Shallina is caught in the sunlight and becomes trapped outside the forest boundary, leaving her at the mercy of the needle node and grubble wig weeds. Desperate to free her, Holly Shallina's friends ask Mr. Hookumbacker for his help. Eventually an ancient tree called Silver Timbers provides them with a possible solution. They must play a tune on a musical instrument called a double chelodian. The instrument is made from the branches of a Yella Yella Yum Yum tree and must be played before the current moon becomes full.Mr. Hookumbacker, Buddy Trix and another shine called WoodyBriars are faced with the long dangerous journey to the Forestof the Falling Waters. They must cross open ground and stay in aforbidden wood which is full of grubble wig weeds. With the helpof the local honey tickles they find the Yella Yella Yum Yum tree which lies beneath a moonbow on a hill of red sand. A grubble wig army want to take over the Yella Yella Yum Yum tree, but Mr. Hookumbacker and Buddy Trix defeat them. With time running out Buddy Trix is forced to carry an injured Mr. Hookumbacker and the double chelodian back to the Forest of the Cracking Stone.
