This book compiles two interviews with Marcos done in Mexico City and Chiapas in October 2007 where Marcos reflects on the reasons behind the guerrilla's isolation, its break with Mexico's leftist politicians and progressives, and the anti-insurgency strategy visited on the Zapatista communities.Marcos reviews his own personal history, that of the ELZN, and responds to his critics: all will find in this book a response. He also speaks for the first time about Cuban leader Fidel Castro, Venezuelan president Hugo Chávez, Bolivian president Evo Morales, Argentine president Cristina Fernández de Kichner y the Colombian paramilitary group FARC.
