And for the first time in ten years, so is Macy’s mom. Macy and Milo begin secretly dating as their parents do publicly, and the strings of healing begin to set in place, even if they have to sneak around to do so. That is, until Milo’s older brother is released from jail and moves in with them. While his brother’s lips speak of staying clean and change, his actions speak otherwise, and Milo begins to fear for his life and the life of the girl that he’s becoming closer to.
