Several hymns in com mon use furnish couplets for this pur pose, - most of all, Jesus my all to heaven is gone. Other hymns are used. I have the music - strikingly like that of one of our college songs oi one hymn which uses half a stanza of Am I a soldier of the cross? And it is quite effective used in this way, with the question of the first half um answered. It is one of the few negro hymns which requires a bass clef.
