Description:Marie-Julie Jahenny was born in Coyault on February the 12th 1850 in the village of Blain in Brittany, France. When she was three or four, her family moved to a cottage in a hamlet called La Fraudais just northeast of Blain where she lived for the rest of her life. She was the eldest of five children, and as with many of God’s chosen souls, she came from a humble background. Her parents, Charles and Marie Boya, were hardworking and pious peasants. Little did they suspect that their daughter would be granted an extraordinary number of graces by Heaven and be given a special mission: to spread the love of the Cross and the importance of holy suffering, becoming a victim soul to make reparation to God and save sinners.
