De allí emigra a anidar al Norte, pasando la estación de las crías, en el extremo Norte, bien que unos cuantos pares permanecen en la parte septen trional de la Nueva. Inglaterra y la Nueva Escocia. Se sabe poco respecto a su nidificación. Brewer dice que un nido de Nova Scotia fué colectado en la rama horizontal de un árbol; se componía de tallos finos de zacate, varitas delgadas y raíces; el borde estaba hecho con estas últimas; el forro era de zacates suaves, plumón y pelo. Los nidos obtenidos en Anderson River, por m'farlane, esta ban, por lo general, en pinabetes bajos ó en el suelo.
