In THE PIGEON MAN AND HIS SOLDIER BIRDS I verse lines against a backdrop of the devastating World War One. Carrier Pigeons played a vital part as they proved to be an extremely reliable way of sending messages. The pigeon ‘lofts’ with their ‘Pigeon Man’ advanced with the soldiers. Every person has their own story, yet an echo overlaps.
