I wanted to share a more indepth version of the story in literary form. Here I have attempted to tell the story of Philomena, including some of the history surrounding the persecutions and a look at the emperor Diocletian. The following text is merely the manifestation of the scenes in my mind when I read the revelations of Sister Maria Luisa di Gesù (1799–1875). It is not my intention to contest, challenge or change any findings of historical significance or church canon or tradition. This book is for enjoyment only. I apologize in advance should these words, or the events offend anyone. Again that is not my intention. This is a wonderful saint who has worked many wonders in my personal life.
