Description:At twenty-five years old, Raye Dawkins is a dressmaker specializing in bespoke clothes for oversized women. Being overweight herself, she has never been on a date, has very low self-esteem and still a virgin. Desperate to find love, she develops deep feelings for a stranger, Eric Mandini living right under her nose directly across the corridor. When they meet by chance a relationship is formed. She spends a lot of time in his condo taking on a domestic role and babysitting his 10 year old son, Enzo. But she cannot stand the little brat; most times she just wants to wring his little neck. She only puts up with him to keep her man. Just when Raye believes their relationship is moving to the next level, Eric dumps her by email right after Valentine's Day. She is distraught, devastated, heartbroken and determined to win Eric back. But Eric leaves on business unexpectedly. For five long months Raye pines away for his return. However, when Eric does return home for his son's birthday, he is in the company of another woman - a lovely, lithe flight attendant. In the corridor, just outside his front door, Eric kisses and fondles her, acting like teenagers. From inside her own condo, Raye hears the commotion in the corridor and spies through the peephole to see Eric in action. Raye is shocked, hurt, insulted in equal measures. The sight destroys her to the core of her being that she makes a feeble attempt at committing suicide. In her warped mind, Raye decides to inflict the same intense pain Eric had inflicted on her by kidnapping his son Enzo with the aide of the condominium's janitor. On the day of the ransom pick-up, Raye lures her friend and neighbor, Sacrine Thompson to the park an hour earlier than specified in the ransom note. This is where the ransom will be dropped. Knowing how nosey Sacrine is, she is certain she will foul the pick-up by retrieving the ransom before the janitor gets to the park. But Sacrine is not so easily manipulated; and Raye ends up retrieving the ransom herself.
