J., he finished his professional preparation under the care of the Second Presbytery of Philadelphia, Pa., and by that body, a licentiate of which he became 6 June, 1833, he was ordained and installed pastor of the Drawyers (Presbyterianf) Church, in St. George's Hundred, New Castle Co., Del., 20 Nov., 1833. After three years, his pastorate there was terminated by dismission.
