It is clear that this army needs a charismatic and talented leader.The King of Powys tells of the struggle undertaken during the years at the end of the fifth century AD and the beginning of the sixth century. It centres on the story of King Arthur, and how he managed to halt the relentless surge of the invaders westward. It follows his whole life until the Battle of Camlann, which was to change the face of Britain forever. The Aftermath takes up the narrative after the Battle of Camlann, during which a new governing order needs to be established. The army produces more leaders, but not all of them are beneficial to the welfare of the Brythonic alliance. The greed and brutality of the few end in destruction for the many.The Triumph of the Dark picks up the history as uncertainty and disorder spread through the constituent kingdoms of Britain. Internal war rages and the army is weakened by its involvement. Another leader emerges to try to unite the country, but is he strong enough and wise enough to tread in the footsteps of King Arthur?
