Description:The so-called 'Prussian hoard', which had found its way to the Jagiellonian Library, was for over thirty years, from 1946 until 1980, off limits to people of science. [...] Ten years ago, the idea to process the old French manuscripts from this collection had emerged. Piotr Tylus had undertaken this task with very good results. Having processed the oldest mediaeval old French manuscripts, he went on along the road of philological studies to work on modern French manuscripts, and had broadened the scope of the work to span manuscripts in Romance languages.
