The fulfillment of predictive scripture concerning this race in its entirety, is God's stamp upon the truth and supernatural origin of His word. It is precisely here that destructive criticism is dealing its severest and most stunning blows. Professor Kuenen, writing from the most anti-supernatural standpoint, "proposes to settle the strife between the supernatural and the naturalistic view of prophecy by the single test of its fulfillment." This is a fair test, as every believer must allow. It is a test to which the Scriptures themselves often appeal. The burden of Kuenen's argument is to prove that predictive prophecy has not been fulfilled, and cannot therefore be from God." "Israel," is our conclusive answer to these bold assertions.
